Survey of PCA Presbyteries

 

In March 2001, Central Carolina Presbytery’s Creation Study Committee mailed a survey to the stated clerks in each of the 53 English-speaking Presbyteries.  They were asked to choose the one statement out of five that most closely described their presbytery’s current position on creation views.  By the end of July, 58% of the presbyteries had responded (31 of 53).  The survey is shown below.  The number of presbyteries choosing a particular statement is in the parenthesis after each statement.

1.       Presbytery considers all non-Calendar Day views to be fundamental exceptions to the Standards and will not ordain someone holding such an exception. (  1  )
